The Challenge
Tropical Agro's products sit on crowded dealer shelves where farmers associate a premium, shiny label with a genuine, quality input. Their flat labels looked ordinary, and in a counterfeit-prone category a distinctive premium finish also helps buyers spot the real product.
Our Solution
We applied inline cold foil, which lays a metallic base in the same press pass as printing and overprints colour on top, giving silver, gold and metallic colour effects with fine detail. This let us foil large areas and intricate artwork together in one efficient, high-volume run, on a durable film suited to agri-retail handling and storage.
The Results
The labels gained strong shelf presence and a clearly premium, distinctive look, at roughly a third lower decoration cost than traditional hot foil, and at the volumes the brand needed. The metallic distinction also made genuine packs easier to recognise.
