The Challenge
Deekay Exports needed its product to stand up against premium international packaging on overseas shelves. A flat label undercut the price point and did not feel special enough to justify a premium, gift-worthy purchase.
Our Solution
We combined three decoration techniques in one label: hot foil stamping for a true mirror-metallic logo, blind embossing for a raised, sculpted element, and a screen-printed matte finish for a deep, tactile, non-reflective background. On a premium stock, the contrast of bright foil against the soft screen matt reads and feels unmistakably high-end.
The Results
The label looked and felt the part on export shelves and supported the premium price. The finish helped the range compete internationally and earned repeat orders, with the packaging itself becoming a selling point.
