The brand's flagship supplement was selling fast, and counterfeiters noticed. Look-alike bottles with copied labels appeared on marketplaces, eroding trust and risking customer safety. They needed buyers and distributors to instantly tell a genuine bottle from a fake, without changing the bottle or the production line.

What We Did

We used variable data printing to give every single label a unique, encrypted QR code plus a hidden serial number, with no two labels alike across the entire run. Each code linked to a verification page confirming authenticity and batch details. We printed on a durable, tamper-evident film so a removed label cannot be reused, and merged the variable data straight from the client's database with full sequence QC.

The Results

What Changed

Within two production cycles, verified-counterfeit reports fell sharply as customers began scanning before buying. Distributors used the same codes to confirm genuine stock, and the brand turned authentication into a marketing message, scan to verify, that built trust rather than fear.

Why It Worked
